Together for the fencing community

Mark Perelmann , former member of the national team, coach and international referee, founded Fechtklingen.de – together with his long-time friend and business partner Rosario Vella , national team fencer, coach and referee.

They are supported by Team Blades , consisting of elite athletes and coaches, as well as experienced technicians who contribute their expertise in materials, blade processing, and fencing technique. Together, they develop and test each product before it goes on sale – by fencers, for fencers.

The goal: to build a bridge between professional and grassroots sports . With every purchase, customers can decide for themselves whether their donation directly benefits the athletes or grassroots sports.

We deliberately offer products that we, as athletes and coaches, have missed from major retailers – things that truly make everyday fencer life easier. No trivial items or trinkets – just what you really need on the piste.

Many of our high-quality products come from Ukraine to strengthen the economy there through the spirit of helping people help themselves . In addition , 20% of the profits will be donated to the association Kinderhilfe Ukraine Rhein-Neckar für Novograd-Volynskij eV until the end of the war. This association from Ludwigshafen, founded by Valentyna Sobetska , has been successfully involved in youth welfare, humanitarian aid, education, culture and international understanding since 2014. It was also the starting point for the new town twinning with Swjahel (formerly Novograd-Volynskij) , which was agreed in 2022. Mark knows Valentyna personally - she is a long-time family friend of the Perelmann family - and has been supporting the initiative privately since 2015 because it has a lasting impact and helps directly where it is needed.
